And the vacuum-lock seal of blog-o-sphere virginity is cracked! Well folks, this is my first ever post on my first ever blog…if you don’t count the two posts I made on myonlinediary about breaking up with my boyfriend back in eighth grade. The thought of creating a blog about equality/the lack therof has been bouncing around in the back of my mind for months, and I am inclined to listen to such thoughts. I have Babe to thank for that:

Ah yes. Thank you, fictional character! Maybe someday I will be as wise as Farmer Hoggett.
I created this little blog to chronicle my adventures in becoming a better human being; mostly by learning about civil rights and inequality, but also by seeking advice on everyday relationships. I shall also rant. I am no longer content with reading books and musing sadly to myself in libraries, so I come humbly to the blog-o-sphere, for what? A place to be heard? A place to commiserate with like-minded people? I’m not exactly worried about what it is or the precise reason I’ve decided to blog, because it definitely feels like a step in the right direction.
